Great Days Golf is delighted to announce its sponsorship of Swansea Bay Golf Club Junior Academy, providing new branded clothing for its young golfers following the Academy’s fantastic support of the Great Days Golf Inclusion Academy.
The relationship between the two organisations developed through the Inclusion Academy, with members of the Swansea Bay coaching team helping to deliver sessions designed to introduce children and young people to golf in an accessible, enjoyable and supportive environment.
Throughout the programme, the coaches helped participants learn new skills, understand the mechanics of the game and, importantly, put those skills into practice with experience out on the golf course.
Following their contribution to the programme, Great Days Golf wanted to give something back and support the work Swansea Bay continues to do with the next generation of golfers. As part of the new sponsorship, Great Days Golf has provided the Academy with its new Swansea Bay Junior Academy x Great Days Golf golf polos, which will be worn by its junior players.
Supporting Junior Golf in South Wales
Established in 2016, Swansea Bay Golf Club Junior Academy has built a strong reputation for developing young golfers aged four to 18, from those picking up a club for the first time through to players competing across Wales, Britain and Europe.
The Academy combines professional coaching with an emphasis on enjoyment, helping its juniors develop their game alongside valuable personal and social skills.
For Great Days Golf, supporting the Academy is a natural extension of the work already being delivered through its own Inclusion Academy and its wider ambition to make golf more accessible to children and young people from all backgrounds.
