GREAT DAYS GOLF

Inclusion academy

The Great Days Golf Inclusion Academy is a pioneering initiative designed to make golf accessible, inclusive and enjoyable for children and young people with disabilities or disadvantaged backgrounds.

Built on the belief that golf should be a sport for everyone, the academy provides opportunities for participants to experience the game, develop new skills and grow in confidence within a supportive environment.

In partnership with Philtronics, the Academy’s headline sponsor, and hosted at the outstanding facilities of Hensol Golf Academy, the programme delivers professionally led coaching sessions throughout the year. Sessions are designed and delivered by world-class coaches Lee and Candice Bromley, who bring international experience, innovation and a passion for junior development. Using state-of-the-art Trackman technology and fun, engaging teaching methods, the Academy helps each participant progress from putting to full swing with confidence and enjoyment.

Since its launch, the Inclusion Academy has engaged over one hundred children through sessions held at venues such as Headlands School, Pyle and Kenfig, Cottrell Park and Hensol Golf Academy. Participants take part in a structured coaching programme, receive recognition for their achievements and enjoy the opportunity to develop both sporting and personal skills.

The Academy also works closely with Action for Children, ensuring that children from residential centres and schools can access these experiences. Through this partnership, Great Days Golf continues to use the power of sport to make a real difference.

The Great Days Golf Inclusion Academy represents what the company stands for: creating opportunity, inspiring participation and connecting communities through golf.
